Typologies There are different techniques to produce lanyards: Transfer printing: the different colors of the print you need, is transferred warm on a polyester ribbon. In such a way it’s possible to obtain colors and shades and the print is exactly alike on both sides. Jacquard weaving: in this case, both the logo and everything you need on the ribbon, is weaved during the production of the ribbon itself. With this technique you can only realize logos or writings with flat colors and the back side of the ribbon is negative, which means that the logo is not well readable. The ribbon is thicker and the quality is of more value. Transfer technique, more economic than the jacquard one, is actually the most in use, both because more colors and shades can be obtained and because it’ cheaper, special in case of big promotional campaigns. Besides, the writing on both sides of the ribbon doesn’t have the effect positive/negative, typical of the jacquard one.
